I’m Romi. Fifteen years ago in Japan, while establishing myself as an international shoe designer, I moved to Los Angeles. Although I faced various challenges, I was fortunate to build a warm and loving family here. Now, I am pursuing a degree in Interior Design at a community college while also teaching Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement. Between raising my 6-year-old son, wearing kimono, and DJing, I enjoy embracing both Southern Californian and Japanese cultures, which fuel my growing passion for creative activities.
The photo above is from the first time I did face painting. I was waiting in line with my son when we learned that the artist had to step away. I offered to give it a try, and they welcomed me as a volunteer. I ended up painting around 10 kids that day. It was so much fun that I started practicing, and now I run it as a business.
I’m passionate about face painting and will make sure your guests leave with a smile! My partner, Q, also offers live portraits to add a unique touch to your event.
